Andrea Deane

 

 

Andrea Deane is currently the CHILD Research Program Manager and Project Director for the Alberta Pregnancy Outcomes and Nutrition (APrON) Study. Her rolls include managing, overseeing, coordinating and ensuring completion and accuracy of various aspects of many different studies. Andrea has been with the team for 5 years now, and has considerable experience in managing a multitude of projects and staff members. Prior to her work here, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Human Nutrition (Dietetics) at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, and has worked as a Health Advisor and Dietary Instructor for about 4 years. Prior to this, she received her Chemical Technology Diploma from SAIT. In addition to her interests in nutrition and health, she enjoys scuba diving, swimming, traveling and raising horses, dogs and cats.
