Alex is a Master of Nursing student at the University of Calgary. He completed a Bachelor of Nursing at Mount Royal University in 2021 and has practiced as a registered nurse at Alberta Health Services in crisis intervention and stabilization, psychiatric emergency services, and early psychosis intervention. Under the supervision of Dr. Nicole Letourneau and Dr. Kharah Ross, his master’s research examines the ATTACH™ program and immune activity. His research interests include parent-child relationships, attachment, mentalization/reflective function, intersubjectivity, perinatal mental health, and psychoneuroimmunology.
