Andrea Deane

Andrea is the Program Manager for the CHILD Team and is the Project Director for both the longitudinal cohort APrON and AVA Women’s and Girls’ Health Hub. In addition to this, she also supervises CHILD Team Project Directors, along with their research staff, and students. With over a decade of dedicated service to the team, Andrea excels in leading, managing, coordinating, and ensuring the precision of various program endeavours. Her expertise encompasses leadership, project management, staff supervision, and the successful execution of multifaceted studies.

Andrea’s academic journey is marked by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Fredericton and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition (Dietetics) from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. Before her current roles, she served as a Health Advisor and Dietary Instructor, bringing invaluable. Additionally, Andrea holds a Chemical Technology Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
