Julia Wilson

Julia Wilson joined the CHILD Studies team in 2024 as a Research Assistant. She completed her BMSc and MSc in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario where she specialized in maternal and fetal health. Her graduate research focused on identifying disparities in maternal and child health outcomes by investigating access to prenatal care, maternal substance use, the role of community support, and the impact of socioeconomic factors on well-being.

She is currently the Knowledge Translation Manager for the CHILD Studies Program and the Knowledge Translation Coordinator for APrON and RESOLVE projects. Julia is also the RESOLVE Project Coordinator, HERO-CAN Project Manager, and PAN-Gem Project Director. She is currently working on participant engagement within APrON project and is working to complete systematic reviews focused on reflective function and maternal mental health.

In Julia’s spare time, she enjoys running outdoors, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
