Kiri is pursuing her Master of Nursing degree under the supervision of Dr. Letourneau. Her thesis work will explore the efficacy of the ATTACH™ program for Indigenous families and potential adaptations of the program to better suit the needs of Indigenous populations. Kiri previously trained and worked as a midwife in New Zealand. After moving back to her hometown of Calgary, she received her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Calgary in 2021 and has since been working as an obstetric nurse. Kiri also joined the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary in 2023 as a sessional clinical instructor.
