Milene Diniz Paulucio is a nurse and Master’s student in Public Health in Brazil. She is currently undertaking a one-semester exchange in Canada as a recipient of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) scholarship, joining the CHILD research team with a focus on breastfeeding and its associations with maternal characteristics and experiences of violence. She holds a postgraduate degree in Neonatal and Pediatric Nursing and is a member of the Laboratory for Studies on Violence, Health, and Accidents (LAVISA) in Brazil.
