Sam Seymour

Sam Seymour (she/her) is a MSc student in the department of community health sciences with a specialization in epidemiology. She currently holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen’s University, in sociology and gender studies. Sam’s educational experience provides a strong background as a social scientist engaged in examining the intersectional social determinants of health.  Currently, her research project with Dr. Nicole Letourneau, is aimed at following up at 15 years with the Alberta Pregnancy Outcomes and Nutrition (APrON) cohort. Her proposed research is a follow-up examining the epigenetic pathways of risk and resilience in adolescents. Her goal is to continue to develop her skill set as an implementation scientist who will remain engaged with the community.
